This Week In Toronto Nov. 28 - Dec 4

It's a pretty quiet week this week, but I'm not complaining because I have to do finals and stuff so

Neither One Thing Nor Another at Towards

Dec. 1

From the FB page - "Through the lens of these two artists, "Neither One Thing Nor Another" explores different approaches as to how writing is employed within a larger artistic practice. "

Parker is one of my favourite dudes and he is whip smart and so nice. He's showing some new work at this, along with Kate Sansom. I'm stoked to see this!

Monuments in the Making - Nicolas Fleming at Bunker 2

Dec. 2

From the organizers - "he process of time selects and discards different cultural symbols that either enter the canon or become its fodder. Artists often help this Darwinian development by producing work that identifies and investigates these icons. Nicolas Fleming’s site specific project, Monuments in the Making, investigates the gallery space as a chameleon of culture; a pale environment originating from ivory-tower foundations and evolving into their current states"

River Tiber & Charlotte Day Wilson at The Great Hall

Dec. 3

Not an opening - but good music! Dancing is fun!
